What time can I arrive and check in?

Please note: No late arrivals are accepted for pods.

Please note you must have left the campsite and all facilities by 11am, not just your pitch. Users of the campsite after this time may incur additional charges.

Any one over the age of 18 can book to stay on the site. Anyone younger must have an adult over the age of 18 in attendence.

Absolutely! Children love our wide-open spaces, play area, nature pond, and freedom to explore.

Please note: Facilities are cleaned everyday from 11am-2pm. During these times they may be unavailable to use temporarily whilst cleaning.

Quiet times on the campsite are between 22:00 and 8:00 (10pm to 8am).

We ask every guest to respect other campers by keeping the noise down and not playing loud music throughout their stay to ensure a peaceful environment.

See our Glamping Pods page for the full packing list.

No, we do not allow any generators (silent or regular) to be used on any pitch at the campsite due to the noise pollution they create and the increased risk of fire.

It is strictly prohibited to operate any drones on the campsite, Kinchyle Farm or surrounding buildings/farmland unless otherwise authorised by a member of staff.

Only guests arriving on foot or by pedal bicycle can book the eco-pitches. Guests cannot arrive by motorbike, car etc.

BBQ’s are allowed only in designated areas and not on the grass. If you do wish to BBQ, there is one provided in the bothy area.  Guests of the Pods have fire pits of which they are welcome to use. If you bring your own BBQ, please inform a member of staff to ensure it is suitable.

Due to the increasing risk of wild fires in Scotland, we prohibit any kind of open fire on the campsite grass, hard standings or furniture. This includes disposable BBQs.

All BBQ’s must be off the grass, at least 1ft from the ground, have a cover and must never be left unattended whist the coals are hot. Disposal of the coals can be done in the metal bin in the bin area once the coals are cold.

Any other questions regarding BBQ/fire safety please contact our team and check our full terms and conditions.

If you do wish to BBQ, please contact our team in advance.
