The Inverness Highland games is one of the biggest events in the Highland calendar, and this years games proved why it is. A fantastic showcase of the Highland culture and great family day out, with people from round the world visiting Inverness, the capital of the Highlands of Scotland, to enjoy the all that was on display.

Barns Campsite is situated directly on the river Nairn. Walk only 200 meters to get to a prize winning fishing pool. The river Nairn is known for its salmon and trout fishing. At the campsite we sell fishing permits and river maps.
